The Quran Conference

Welcome to the 1st Annual Quran Conference: Building Our Relationship with the Qur’an presented by: Association for Qur’anic Understanding in cooperation with IQRA’ International Educational Foundation and Al-Furqaan Foundation. We invite you to come listen to distinguished speakers from all around the world as we learn how to connect ourselves to the Book that has been sent down as a guidance to mankind.

The conference offers a unique opportunity for Qur’anic scholars to interact among themselves and to inspire the participants of the conference to develop their own direct and personal relationship with the Divine Book.

The only way for the Global Muslim Community to regain its position as the leader of humankind is through coming back to Allah’s Book i.e. its people build their direct relationship with it afresh. Qur’anic scholars should educate their people and the scholars from various groups and network among themselves for future progress in Qur’anic understanding. Our emphasis lies on understanding the Qur’an, in changing human situations and in the context of social issues that our world encounters today. We believe, through progress in technology, science, literature, art and philosophy (etc.), God is preparing humankind for understanding of His Glorious Book whose “treasures will never be exhausted” (hadith). Understanding of the Qur’an is a continuing process – we learn from earlier generations and keep moving forward! Each believer is a student of the Qur’an and our most important need is good teachers.

We hope this Conference will pave the way for future progress of the Qur’anic Movement.
